Saturday #3

Saturday the 29th of November, and we're off for races five and six.

• First race at 13:30,
• Second at 14:30.

It's been suggested that a 13:30 start is a better time for some people, so we're going for a slightly later start tomorrow.

There will be a brief discussion before racing, about 13:00, some tips - possibly ;-), and afterwards a session where you can ask questions about the more technical aspects of racing.

This Saturday's tips will be on the first beat, how to get to the windward mark first.

As you can see it'll be a fairly light day with Easterly or South South Easterly winds of about 4-6 knots, and two different weather forecasts from WindGuru and MetCheck to choose from.

Light sailing. Soft hands, and no fidgeting in the boat ;-) are the order for the day.

It could well be the day to practice Roll Tacking.
